Jennifer Cortez is a seasoned leader with more than 20 years of experience in federal grants and contract administration across higher education, government, nonprofit, and private sectors. At ProVets, she serves as a Practice Lead and Program Manager, where she directs teams supporting the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Department of Transportation (DOT).

Jennifer is recognized for her ability to guide diverse teams through complex federal programs, ensuring compliance with key regulations, including 2 CFR 200, FAR, NEPA, BABA, and the Davis-Bacon Act. She has successfully managed multi-million-dollar award portfolios, developed policies and procedures to streamline compliance, and led financial and risk assessments that strengthen program performance.

Her technical expertise spans a wide range of federal systems and platforms such as STRIPES, SAM.gov, GrantSolutions, Workday, Salesforce, PeopleSoft, and Banner, making her a trusted advisor to both clients and colleagues. Jennifer holds a B.S. in General Studies from Arkansas State University. Above all, Jennifer is known for fostering collaboration, building high-performing teams, and driving results that directly advance federal mission objectives.
