ProVets Benefits and Special Programs

Paid Time Off

Personal Time – You will accrue 1.54 hours biweekly, for a total of 40 hours per year.

Vacation Time – You will accrue 3.08 hours biweekly, for a total of 80 hours per year.

Federal Holidays – You are not expected to work on Federal Holidays. You will be compensated at your normal rate for all eleven of these Federal Holidays.

Medical Insurance- Aetna Health Network Option or Aetna Nationwide

You can choose from Aetna Health Network Option if you reside in the Virginia area or Aetna Nationwide for all other areas. Each medical plan includes prescription coverage and out-of-pocket maximum protection. Premiums for your enrollment are shared by ProVets and the employee. ProVets will contribute 75% of premium costs for employee-only coverage. ProVets will contribute 50% premium costs for eligible family  members.

Health Advocate

Health Advocate is a service that assists you and your family in managing health care, resolving claims, and coordinating care. It comes at no cost to you, as this service is automatically available to all employees, their spouses or domestic partners, dependent children, parents, and parents-in-law who are enrolled in any medical plans through ADP TotalSource.

Dental Insurance- Guardian Dental Value 1000 Plan

You can choose to enroll in Guardian Dental Value 1000 Plan. Premiums for your enrollment are employee responsibility.

Vision-VSP Vision Care

You can choose to enroll in VSP Vision Care. Premiums for your enrollment are employee responsibility.

Basic Life Insurance-Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance

Basic term life insurance coverage protects you and your family in the event of death or personal loss. ProVets covers the cost of Basic Life Insurance Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance up to a maximum of $10,000. With your Basic Life Insurance coverage, you also have access to meaningful services to help you make the right decisions to manage what life may bring – from preparing important legal  documents to funeral planning services offered through our partner, MetLife

Long Term Disability Benefits

Long-term disability coverage provides you with financial protection — a portion of your income — when a disability, illness, or injury keeps you from working for a brief or extended amount of time. ProVets cover the cost of Basic Long-term Disability -50% of the first $2,000 of Your Revisability Earnings, subject to the INCOME WHICH WILL REDUCE YOUR DISABILITY BENEFIT

Healthcare Flexible Spending Account; Health Savings Account; Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account

Full-time employees can participate in any of these programs. These programs are intended to result in tax savings for medical and childcare expenses.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan

ProVets will match 100% up to the first 3%, and 50% on the next 2%. Employees are immediately 100% vested.

Commuter Benefits

Work-Life Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program, sometimes referred to as EAP, is available to help you and your family maintain a healthy work-life integration through assistance with personal needs. These specialists are available 24/7, 365 days a year.

ADP University gives employees of all backgrounds and expertise access to professional development courses to help them excel. From fulfilling compliance requirements to communicating more effectively, courses cover a broad range of topics and are available year-round and at a variety of venues, such as at your workplace or online. While most courses are completely free, some carry a small fee ($7 per class)
