ProVets Benefits and Special Programs

Paid Time Off (PTO)

All full-time employees will receive 15 days (120 hours) of paid time off (PTO) annually with additional PTO accrued at established milestones.

Federal Holidays – You are not expected to work on Federal Holidays. You will be compensated at your normal rate for all eleven of these Federal Holidays.

Medical Insurance- UnitedHealthcare (UHC) – Choice Plus

ProVets offer two medical plan options from UnitedHealthcare. Each medical plan includes prescription coverage and out-of-pocket maximum protection. Premiums for your enrollment are shared by ProVets and the employee. ProVets will contribute 80% of premium costs for employee-only coverage. ProVets will contribute 50% premium costs for eligible family members.

Dental Insurance- Guardian DentalGuard Preferred

With a ProVets Dental plan, you’ll have access to one of the largest networks of dentists with two reimbursement levels that give you more control over savings. Premiums for your enrollment are shared by ProVets and the employee. ProVets will contribute 50% of premium costs for employee-only coverage. ProVets will contribute 50% premium costs for eligible family members.

Vision-VSP Vision Care

You can choose to enroll in VSP Vision Care. Premiums for your enrollment are employee responsibility.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan – Principal

ProVets will make a qualified matching contribution of 100% of salary deferral contributions up to 3% of pay, plus 50% of salary deferral contributions from 3% to 5% of pay for the payroll period.

Basic Life Insurance-Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance

Basic term life insurance coverage protects you and your family in the event of death or personal loss. ProVets covers the cost of Basic Life Insurance Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance up to a maximum of $50,000.

Short- and Long-Term Disability Benefits

Disability insurance covers a part of your income, so you can pay your bills if you’re injured or sick and can’t work. ProVets will cover the cost of Short-Term Disability – 60% of salary to maximum $2000/week. ProVets will cover the cost of Long-Term Disability – 60% of salary to maximum $6000/month.

Healthcare Flexible Spending Account and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account

Full-time employees can participate in either of these programs. These programs are intended to result in tax savings for medical and childcare expenses.

Work-Life Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Guardian’s Employee Assistance Program gives you and your family members access to confidential personal support, across everything from stress management and nutrition to handling legal or financial issues.

The services available include consultations with experienced professionals, as well as access to resources and discounts designed to help you in a variety of different ways.

ProVets Referral Program

ProVets will offer a referral bonus if you refer a candidate and he or she is hired! Bonus amounts vary based on labor category.
